Wang Yeul's world of work has been a continuous study of how to reinterpret and express the expression of paintings based on the spirit of the East in a modern way.
In other words, I would like to think about how to accept the concept of the traditional oriental spirit that forms the basis of oriental painting in accordance with today's times and make it the basis of the world of work.

Birds and horses are metaphorical expressions of life of various joy, anger, affection, and Pleasure , including the solitude, companionship, and happiness of humans living in urban life through nature.

The nature of Mureungdowon, the self that considers it, and the relational setting of visitors are typical images of landscape paintings by ancient writers.

The act of Wang Yeul painting, living, is part of nature. Confucianism, Buddhism, Eastern Confucius, Mencius philosophy, the bottom line comes from nature's logic. So the most basic floor of his painting is in Eastern thought, which is the subject of nature.
The topic of painting is how this natural reason can be visualized as a painting. What are the five elements that visualize Eastern thought? It is a new genre of Korean painting that connects only the important points by drawing out the important points of the poem, which is a permeate and smudge from the drawing paper, and makes everything simple.

왕열 작품 세계

왕열의 작품세계는 동양정신을 바탕으로 하는 그림의 표현을 어떻게 현대적으로 재해석하여 표현할 것인가 하는 문제에 대한 지속적인 연구였습니다.
즉 동양화의 근간을 이루고 있는 전통 동양정신의 개념을 오늘날 시대에 맞추어 어떻게 수용할 것인가 하는 문제를 생각하고, 이를 작품 세계의 근본으로 삼고자 하는 것입니다.

새와 말이 자연을 통하여 도시 생활 속에서 살아가는 인간들의 고독과 동행 그리고 행복 등 다양한 희, 노, 애, 락의 삶의 은유적 표현인 것입니다.

아득히 멀리선 무릉도원의 자연과 이를 관조하는 자아, 그리고 관람객의 관계적 설정은 옛 문인들이 그리던 산수화의 전형적인 심상입니다.

왕열 작가가 그림을 그리는 행위, 살아가는 것은 자연의 일부분입니다. 유교나, 불교나, 동양의 공자나 맹자 철학이나, 밑바닥은 자연의 이치에서 오는 것이지요. 그리하여 그의 그림의 가장 기본적인 바닥은 자연을 주제로 하는 동양 사상에 있습니다.
그림의 화두는 이 자연의 이치가 어떻게 그림으로 시각화될 수 있는가에 있습니다. 동양사상을 시각화하는 5가지 요소는. 여백, 선, 일 필로 내려치는 일격, 그리고 화선지에서 스밈과 번짐, 모든 것을 간략하게 만들어 주는 시적인 요소가 중요한 요점만을 뽑아서 연결시키는 새로운 한국화의 한 장르입니다.
